Monday, January 12, 2009 - Opened and allowed to sit, in bottle, for 1 hour. Dark, dense and brooding in color. Rich, deep and enchanting aromas of dark berries, cassis and chocolate with a coffee bean secondary. Full bodied and mouth filling with the fruit and chocolate coming through to the palate. Silky in texture. Not particularly complex in nature but thoroughly enjoyable none the less. This bottle dispayed an absolutely amazing layored display of aromas, however it came up a bit short on the palate in comparison. Long finish. Very nice.
