Friday, October 16, 2009 - Gian's house. Decanted for one our. Youthful reddish purple. Nose of kirsch, leather and dried herbs. Berries and figs on the palate, with earth, licorice, lavender and smoked meats. Long finish. Not yet at at its peak. Terrific.
