Monday, April 11, 2011 - Medium dark red. Roasted dark fruit, fairly ripe, easy to pick as a 98 but I didn't think Donjon because it missed the earthy animal nose I've always seen in 98 Donjon. After an hour in the glass that complexity developed. Needed an hour or so in the decanter to start to show what a great wine this is.
