Monday, June 2, 2014 - Coravin 6/2/14: Color is medium ruby with slight age-appropriate bricking; nose has great intensity with tart red cherry fruit, some iron, some smoked meat, slight menthol throughout; palate shows light body, some defined structure throughout that drinks well, cherry fruit throughout, persists through midpalate, but fades into a slightly bitter short-medium finish. Nose was very promising and complex; palate is decent but fades significantly throughout the palate until the finish. Some early notes of maturity, but seems early in development. Very good to excellent for now with potential for more with 5 more years. 92+
