Wide-open, approachable nose of intense, high-toned red fruit and mushrooms. This palate is beautifully expressive, showing raspberry/strawberry fruit, forest floor, kirsch/red cherries, game, and garrigue. Really smooth and seamless, with a great combination of flavor intensity, elegance, and length. Well-integrated tannins. Awesome stuff and a great showing for this wine.
