Tuesday, September 23, 2008 - A very pretty color. Deep red-violet that fades to clear at the rim. Quite tight upon opening. Spicy cherry and herbs, a note of black pepper and a good duration of bacon fat. Sweet on the entry with full coverage and a fat mid palate. A little heat on the back end but the finish is excellent. This seems to have a long life ahead of it.
