Sunday, April 12, 2020 - Drank at home after opening 5 hours prior, this clear and deep purple in colour wine had an initial nose of smoked bacon, pepper and dark berries. The main fruit I got when tasting was ripe cherries. These were mixed with dark bearing and some spiciness that lingered in the end. The wine was very slightly hot and the tannins and acidity were in a good and balanced place.
