Thursday, November 23, 2017 - Jammy nose: prune, stewed blackberry, vanilla, sweet licorice. On the palate, despite the heavy weight, there is a lifting acidity that makes it feel fresh and lively. The tannin are firm. The dark fruit is ripe and there are light notes of baking spices on the peppery finish. A bit of heat.
