2014 Futo 5500

Saturday, June 17, 2017 - Enjoyed at the Futo estate. This had been open for a few hours.

Really cranked it up from the OV/SL, which was plenty nice in its own right. Very much a Stag's Leap profile for me, with powerful purple fruit and a seamless profile. Great finish on this wine - long and smooth.

Would not be scared to pop one of these in the near term with a little air.

6/21/2017 9:23:00 AM - Visited Futo in DEC and met with Jessica and Tum Futo and Jason Exposto- very nice people, beautiful estate, and delicious wine! Very easy to support them...

Just curious if they served you the Helianthus? If so, thoughts?

I am loving what Jason Exposto is doing with those sites.

And for the QPR that Coombsville wine is going to be a nice addition to their portfolio.

    Cheers...
