Saturday, October 14, 2017 - This is a fine Chardonnay. Pale wheat color, clear and bright. Nose of varietal fruit, faint lemon peel, mineral, apricot, barest hint of oak, rich and integrated but not fat. The palate is broad, shows tropical fruit but in a tighter, controlled manner; has richness and minerals both, and really nice length in the finish. My wife gets some butter, I do not. This is my first Brewer-Clifton wine, and it is an impressive introduction.
