Sunday, August 13, 2017 - Drank from a magnum purchased from the winery about 5 years ago. Cork was trouble to get out but most likely because of age, it was not defective. The wine was just stunning. Honeyed pear, walnuts, mouth-filling flavors with soft and supple texture. For those that say American Chardonnay can't be aged, I would present this 20 year old wine as a great example of how Chardonnay tastes when it is done well. 1997 was a very good year in Northern California.
