Somewhat austere on the nose and entry, but experience has taught us to give this style of Riesling a chance, for which we receive a reward for our patience. Although no characteristic of of this wine really shines, it has really nice balance. Think is shows better at close to room temperature, as it grows on you as it warms and gets some air. Not exactly fruity in an "Old World" way with plenty of pomegranate, honey and lemon peel. Some mineral, skins and stems supporting flavors.
