Thursday, March 1, 2018 - This is nice dolcetto, a bit better on day 3 than day 1. In addition to some dark fruit, there’s a faint liqueur note on the nose, as well as some slightly rustic aromatics. On the palate blackberry predominates, along with something a bit bark-like. Medium-bodied with plenty of snap from ample acidity. The fruit is ripe, but in no way over-ripe. Very faint bitterness in the tannins. Overall, quite good.
