Saturday, January 4, 2020 - I hate writing a tasting note without a score, but this one is hard to rate as it tastes nothing like a Sangiovese. At first, it is Pinot-like as others have noted. Then, it develops into a Cab Franc taste as it is savory, bell pepper, with a bit of peppery taste. I like it. Very interesting wine with different flavors, but not anything like Sangiovese if that is what you're looking for.
