Saturday, December 17, 2022 - The slightly smoky nose features boysenberry, raspberry, salty plum, sea spray, and fresh leather. Full bodied, the acid is juicy and the smooth tannins are sweet. The structure is quite pleasurable and although it’s broad and indulgent, it’s retains shape. Flavors include swwet cherry, blackberry, black plum, maple, cardamom, and muddled sage. It finished with a subtle sweet black licorice note. This has a lot of density and depth, and while it’s an invitingly intense experience right now, it might unwind a bit over the next two or three years and become a bit more expressive.
