3/22/2019 1:23:00 PM - Rieslingfan-Mostly through the Verticals sessions at La Paulee, I have now tasted a good range of vintages of the Boillot Mouchere from between 2006 and 2016 (NOT the 2015, for full disclosure), and there have been far more misses than hits, with the consistent dings being too much oak and too little acidity. It's just ponderous to me without any of the snap I find in the most exciting Puligny's, so I've never really understood the appeal of this cuvee to the seemingly large number of white Burgundy lovers who regularly sing its praises.

3/22/2019 1:29:00 PM - Thanks for the info. I had not had the wine in past vintages, so wasn't sure if my impressions made sense.

I still really liked the wine, but figure I can do as well or better for less.
