Saturday, October 8, 2022 - The wine presents as ruby on the rim and graduating toward a crimson center. Nose of plum, cherry, blackberry, and licorice. By the finish, black pepper and tar chime in. The tightness of the wine and angular aspect of the tannins present a bit raw on the finish. Should have decanted this. Consumed over three (3) days. Only a few grains of sediment. 14.4% alc. With grilled (beef) rib eyes and mushrooms. 10.08.22. Recommended.
