Sunday, January 10, 2021 - This is not a subtle, timid Pinot Noir. It is still elegant, but it's elegant and forceful at the same time (iron fist/velvet glove). Dark for a Pinot. Good quality and refined from front to back.
Ripe, bright, crisp cherry and orange zest. Nutmeg and spice, with a long finish. The red/orange character is quite distinctive.
Similar to the 2015 R-M Occidental Ridge we had a month ago. I wonder how much fruit comes from that vineyard?
