Saturday, January 7, 2023 - This took about an hour to open up in the decanter and was lovely with seared NY Strips. Medium and supple in build and texture. Good acidic frame and soft tannins, overall very well balanced and integrated. Concentrated red berries with voluptuous black fruit, including plums, blackberries, and blackcurrant. Some savory coffee, tobacco, mint, and dried leather notes extend into the finish. Drink 2023-2026. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.
