Friday, July 1, 2005 - Opened with a gamey nose and unpleasant palate. Opened up over an hour. Developed a more muted nose; on the palate plum, raspberry, tar, and chocolate; big tannins. Not a bad food wine while waiting for the Brunellos to age.
