Monday, February 14, 2011 - Amazing layers of complexity. Still quite tannic on finish, almost spicy at first, now just very mouth drying. Big brown sugar nose but also some licorice. Palette got fatigued after 2 glasses - this is a heavy wine. Drank at Alain Ducasse restaurant called Adour in NY inside St. Regis hotel. Wow, what a wine list and what a valentines day special deal on 1997 Bryant!
