Tuesday, June 12, 2012 - Farewell Dinner (Charlie Trotter's, Chicago IL): Dark red and black currant and plum. Cedar notes and some tobacco leaf. Lots of power on both the nose and palate. Quite ripe fruit on the palate with great texture. A long powerful finish with nice acidity on the backend. In a really great place.
