96 Points

Friday, October 5, 2007 - Golf & Dinner at Medinah with Rocky, Kevin, et al. (Medinah Country Club): Wow, what an unexpected treat! I'm not generally the biggest fan of Bryant in the few other vintages I've had but this was the real deal - about as good as California cabs get. Towering aroma followed by a compelling palate with a riot of different flavors and influences coming together including black fruit, brown sugar, mineral earthy notes, black violets, and spice. All come together in a seamless and balanced wine. It's hard to point to a single characteristic that makes it great, it is the sum of the parts coming together. 96-97pts.
