Friday, January 31, 2020 - Deep dark purple, brett notes apparent, burned grapes, anise, scorched earth, big purple fruits, black cherry syrup, garrigue and a little meaty note; full, with a sweet attack, creamy texture, and somewhat hot finish. Not exactly my cup of tea, but actually enjoyable. Guessed much younger on this with a 2010 Shafer Hillside Select. Heritage Wine Blind Wine #7 at the Tasting Finals at Jean-George Las Vegas
