Sunday, April 24, 2022 - Cork crumbled worse than anything I’ve ever seen. Fortunately the wine was in great shape. Red currant, tobacco, leather…. More Bordeaux than Napa. Probably close to peaking now.
It lost some freshness getting a little too thick after 4-5 hours decanting. I would likely only give it about an hour open.
