Saturday, January 21, 2006 - This wine is past its peak. The bottle I opened tonight was drab, all oak and flab, a far cry from what had been (15 months ago) an absolutely lovely, bright, fragrant and surprisingly complex wine with piercing acids and a touch of glycerol, maybe the best $10 white I've ever tried.
