Monday, June 10, 2013 - Deep gold color. Honeyed straw and baked orange on the nose, with an overcast from those Sauternes barrels. Smooth, full and round on the palate. This is at a really good place right now. Acidity still there, but soft instead of crisp. Quince, citrus rind, straw, dry honey. Drink up with shrimp or whatever you're grilling this summer.
