91 Points

Thursday, August 19, 2010 - Corks: Syrah (Rossford, OH): Slight coffee color, quite brown. The nose has a lot of that duck-dipped-in-soy-sauce thing that I get on over-the-hill Bordeaux. On the palate, smooth, melted-away tannins, okish acidity. Slightly flabby. Sausage. Creamy. Nice, but over the hill. The dregs make this better, giving it a little more youthful structure.
