Beautifully meaty, earthy nose with hints of blackberry. Big, rounded tannins and good acidity. Ends quite richly. A much better wine than I thought it would be after reading various notes although I see the Wine Doctor rates it reasonably highly. Reckon it will improve with another few years in bottle but it is not bad now if a touch hard work.Went down well though with a steak on the braii. Very good/potentially excellent
