Monday, July 24, 2017 - Deep garnet to purple. First of 3 California reds at dinner in Park City, Utah. Heavier bodied than most pinots. Low tannins and acidity and coats the tongue. Fruit forward with cherry, blueberry and cola. Some creme brûlée type sweetness. Very smooth easy drinker. This and a bottle of 2014 Caymus were the overall family favorites for the trip.
