Wednesday, July 1, 2020 - Medium dark ruby in colour, quite dark for a Pinot Noir due to the extracted style.
Sweet aromas of red berries ( strawberries/raspberry ) & an almost candied sensation.
On the palate bold, fruit forward, ripe/extracted red berries with spice, well integrated oak (almost caramel ) with medium to high acidity & medium soft tannins.
The finish is long and with 14.6% ABV it’s difficult to to call this wine balanced, but it’s very pleasing on the palate & this Belle Glos style is what got me into Pinot Noir.
