Friday, March 1, 2024 - Great for the style it is. Hides it's 15.5% ETOH well. Huge floral notes with violets, crushed rocks and a little pepper. Has some notable chocolate and vanilla notes which I don't love but didn't fine intrusive. Finish is powerful and lengthy. Quite intense adding some coarse tannins. I don't get any tertiary notes at all--still rather primary but I suspect the palate is smoothing out and integrating.
