Saturday, May 21, 2022 - Four hour decant, this could use several hours more air time. The nose is a wonderful blend of tar and roses with underbrush in the mix. The palate is strong with angular, grippy tannins that dry the tongue out heavily, this has big tannic structure. Cherry and roses are present, the tannins make it a little harder to track. This is in angular point in its development, needing several more years of cellar time to develop further complexity and allow the tannins to calm further.
