Friday, February 21, 2003 - Bright disc. Medium garnet with orange rim. Clean, moderately intense nose showing primarily tobacco scents, with some clove, leather, mint and light cherry. Medium-bodied on the palate, with melted tannins and similar flavors as for the nose. Medium finish. Although the wine is reasonably enjoyable, it is clearly deficient in fruit and in decline.
