Saturday, August 27, 2022 - Rich murky purple with dark purple edge in color. Nose of blackberry jam, espresso and a hint of foxiness. On the palate: red berries and a hint of cocoa. Tannins are plush...holding the wine in balance, but unobtrusive and perceived only slightly on the gums. Long, persistent finish of sour cherries and sweet tobacco. Very well delineated and tremendously enjoyable.
