Saturday, August 30, 2008 - 32nd Birthday Dinner (Le Gourmand - Seattle, WA): Lovely and intense nose of raspberry, cedar / pencil lead, butterscotch, dark smoky berries, and black currants. Firm tannins on the palate. Perfect balance. Rich fruit and spices on the long glorious finish.
