Monday, January 15, 2018 - Opened this early to see what the fuzz is about (my first Ultramarine). Baked apples, peach, and meyer lemon notes on the nose. Creamy texture with more apple and sweet fruit notes on the palate. Overall, I was a bit surprised by the amount of sweetness, I expected this to be drier. Good finish. Will be interesting in a couple of years. So far, I’m not super impressed, but will buy again to see how this evolves over time. Nevertheless a good wine!
