Monday, July 15, 2013 - Last of 6 from my cellar purchased as a future many moons ago. Decanted for about 1.5 hours. Cork crumbly, but no impact on bottle. Cherry red in color, but not showing much maturity. Lovely nose of plum and cherry with a nice floral element. A nice balanced palate of cassis, cherry, crushed stones with a tad of oak. No tannin. Over time fruit subsided to reveal an earthy element. Very nice. Paid about 15.00 for the bottle. Oh, those were the days.
