Thursday, April 25, 2019 - Bottle variation was the theme of the evening. Out of 7 bottles served, one was sour, one was corked and a third was fruitless. The remaining 4 had big body, a nice earthiness and showed character particularly leather. The corks in all 7 bottles were saturated and starting to crumble after 37 years. A very good pairing with American Wagyu beef sirloin and braised short rib.
