Friday, March 25, 2022 - This was close to WOTN. Clear amber colour, no ullage so great bottle. Light marmalade, tinned apricots, caramel notes and still a wine with acidity and definition at 47 years of age - truly remarkable. A truly great nose with waft after waft of fruit essence and then the freshness of the palate and perfect balance of the body of the wine. A bottle shared with 16 people but what an experience.
