Sunday, January 21, 2024 - A wonderful wine. Paired with asian glazed salmon and local shitake mushrooms. Opened with a nicely expressive nose, good translucent color and a bit of that sonoma funk, but still a heaviness of Napa. The mrs. is still talking about it this morning and she's never been much of a pinot gal. Overall a really, really enjoyable bottle that went nicely as a pre-dinner cocktail, but really shined with the food pairing and the earthy flavors from the mushrooms. This bottle is not close to decline, if anything it's right in its wheeelhouse.
