This year is our 25th anniversary, poured it with a corvair, immediately showed legs on the glass...had a 1997 bottle of Ruffino Riserva that was thin, the badia, for 25 years was beautiful, had some hints of toffee, that was so prevalent back in the day. The wine was full bodied and had a good mouthfeel. A hint of cherry, but smooth...really enjoyed this. Might be biased as we honeymooned in Italy that year, but we've had tough bottles in the past. Hints of toffee and butterscotch were there, which 20 years ago made this wine like a treat. Still amazing!
