Friday, August 29, 2014 - Just an outstanding bottle of aged Napa cab. For us, this was singing on a very short decant. Cork was in excellent shape. Very little bricking. Dark, deep purple color. Nose was incredible, with tobacco, plum, and fig. The palate was actually very in-line with the nose, but showing even more tertiary components of earth and leather along with the tobacco. Fruit was all very present but not overpowering - some plums, figs, currants, and the finish went on forever. Outstanding.
