Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Medium expressive nose displaying ripe black fruit, fresh blackberry, blackberry liqueur, black cherry, spicy spices, smoke meat and limestone. Very good concentration, nicely layered concentrated black fruit, round, warm and silky, good acidity, earthy mineral, fine tannins and a long perfectly ripe black fruit driven finish. Although built to age, generous ripe fruit makes this enjoyable and approachable.
