Monday, March 25, 2019 - After a thirty minute decant this is very lively and pretty. Red garnet with limited bricking. The nose is very pretty with red cherries, raspberries and flowers. The palate is medium bodied, a little rounded, fully mature but bursting with primary and secondary notes of red cherries, raspberries, brambles and a touch of wood. I debated in my mind whether this is already in an optimal drinking window or it’s going to age further. On balance I think I would drink it in the next three years because it’s in such a good spot now and it clear has begun down the maturation curve.
