Tuesday, January 1, 2019 - Nose: Slightly artificial nose of red fruits (strawberries and cherries) and those honey sticks (honey in a straw).
Palate: Same as the nose.. artificial strawberries and cherries mixed with some honey.. and almost like a wax taste?
Pale ruby. Off-dry (a little bit more towards the sweeter side) with little to no tannins. Medium body with medium-minus acidity. Medium bubbles, with decent carbonation that lasts while in the glass (although nothing like a constant carbonation like a Champagne, for example, where you can see the bubbles non-stop.. here you see nothing, not that that's a bad thing). Short to finish of about 3 seconds. Good and easy to enjoy but I suggest having it constantly chilled. Even though the nose and the palate has some sort of "artificial" taste.. it's still very good and I don't say that it's artificial in a bad way.. maybe I just can't describe it well enough here as I don't have bubbly wines a lot. Great quality to price ratio.. very enjoyable with a good balance. Not too sweet, enough bubbles and carbonation to keep you satisfied and smooth.
