Friday, December 8, 2023 - Mostly consistent with previous note ... and still in great shape.

Day 1: Opened for about 90 mins, it shows modest signs of age, vivid strawberry nose, and great balance on palate. Lively fruit still in evidence balanced by robust acidity and evident but smooth tannins. Perfect with a rustic polenta dish.

After 3 days under vacuvin: Showing some bricking and less fruit, but it's still quite good with excellent balance.
