Still youthful considering the vintage, although on this bottle the fruit seemed to be fading faster than the tannin. Reticent nose, that was hard to coax over the course of two+ hours. Still plenty of weight and grip, and ultra smooth. Enjoyable, no doubt, although we would’ve been better served to give it several hours of air prior to consumption. Better yet, leave it alone until 2025.
