Sunday, May 4, 2008 - Great blue/black fruit with vanilla and oak aromas. This wine was very smooth and had a long finish. It was very approachable now and really just a whole lot of fun to drink while it is young and full of those great QC fruit flavors. After just tasting the 05 Cab last month at the release, we wanted to revisit the 04. I think that I enjoyed the 05 more because of a great brown sugar streak that the 05 had that wasn't as evident in the 04, but the 04 is still an incredible wine with a long life ahead of it.
