Sunday, February 24, 2019 - Lovely Aligote. Others have described this well already. Perfect balance, good fruit, very good acidity; nothing overwhelmed. I think it had a tiny bit of sweetness that helped it stand up very well to a lunch with mutter paneer and fried eggplants. It was very good on its own too. The cheeses I had handy (Gouda and Manchego) didn't make for inspired pairing here.
